– Regarding the second bill, it's the act commonly known as 'lex Kamilek'. It was proposed by the ruling, parliamentary majority as an element of deregulation. There is no consent for the President to sign this bill for many reasons. These reasons were also pointed out by the Children's Rights Commissioner, let me remind you, an official chosen by the votes of that very parliamentary majority – stated Zbigniew Bogucki at a press conference.

– From the very beginning, the Commissioner pointed to the far-reaching shortcomings, to put it very euphemistically, of this bill and the lowering of children's rights protection. The President does not agree and shares the Commissioner's stance in this regard on reducing children's rights at the cost of eliminating certain administrative difficulties; above all, the child's well-being is paramount – continued the Head of the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland.
