– We have a flawed National Council of the Judiciary (KRS). The consequence of your actions is something you cannot ignore. Every so-called 'neo-judge' in the Supreme Court and the Supreme Administrative Court today generates compensation from the State Treasury, awarded as a result of European Court of Human Rights (ECtHR) rulings. This compensation is paid from the Polish taxpayer's money, and as you know, the amounts of these compensations are constantly increasing. Merely the appearance of a 'neo-judge' in the courtroom, regardless of the substantive verdict delivered, generates this compensation. In this composition, you bear co-responsibility for creating such positions in the Supreme Court and the Supreme Administrative Court through a procedure inconsistent with the Polish Constitution – said Waldemar Żurek during the KRS session.

– I want to emphatically state that as the Minister of Justice and Prosecutor General, I will endeavor, through legal means, for you to vacate this building. I will not participate in this vote because, in my opinion, voting with your participation is inadmissible – he continued.
