– The bill was submitted yesterday to the Chancellery of the Sejm, so the Sejm can address it immediately. This is an important matter, because time is also of the essence here. On one hand, we are talking about several hundred thousand Ukrainian citizens who are staying in Poland, and the current law will remain in force until the end of September. On the other hand, there are also Polish entrepreneurs, those who employ Ukrainian citizens. There are truly many things that need regulation – said Zbigniew Bogucki on Radio Wnet.

– This government had almost 1.5 years to sort out these matters. Rafał Trzaskowski, during the campaign in February, if I remember correctly, said that the 800+ benefit needs to be handled differently by law, to be restricted. Prime Minister Tusk agreed with him. And what did they do? As usual, nothing – he stated.

– It was only President Karol Nawrocki, in a very short time, because we literally had just a few days to amend this bill. We will probably amend it further in the Sejm, because that is natural. [...] I will present it in the Sejm on behalf of Mr. President and lead the process – he added.
