New Presidential Spot Explains Vetoes:

The Tusk Government’s Law on Aid to Ukrainian Citizens Goes a Step Too Far.

Michał Olech

When Russia attacked Ukraine, Poles opened their hearts and welcomed the most refugees of all European countries. We also provided weapons to keep the advancing Russian troops as far away from our borders as possible. However, Donald Tusk's government's law on aid to Ukrainian citizens goes a step too far, granting Ukrainian refugees greater privileges in Poland than the citizens of our own country. That's why it's time to implement President Karol Nawrocki's 'Poland and Poles first' principle – says the narrator in the new clip, published on Karol Nawrocki's social media.

While the government promised during the campaign to limit 800+ benefits for Ukrainian refugees, today it advocates for expanding access to this benefit. It also proposes free healthcare for non-working refugees from Ukraine, but President Karol Nawrocki does not consent to preferential access for citizens of other countries to our social systems. This law must be amended, which is why the president is proposing his own bill ensuring access to social benefits exclusively for Ukrainian citizens who are working and paying contributions in Poland, and prohibiting the promotion of Banderism ideology. Because Poland first, Poles first – the narrator continues.
