“These are not true claims; Poland stands on coal. We primarily have substantial coal reserves that must be utilized,” Rafał Leśkiewicz said on PR24, when asked about experts' warnings that Poland might face an electricity shortage in a few years.
“The second point is, of course, Polish nuclear power [...] this will also be, among other things, the subject of the Cabinet Council meeting, which is imminent. But we also, of course, have renewable energy sources, such as biogas plants,” he continued.
