President Nawrocki Warns Against Trusting Putin, Affirms "Nothing About Ukraine Without Ukraine"
– Just before the Alaska meeting between Donald Trump and Putin, President Karol Nawrocki participated in a teleconference, which President Donald Trump had organized. Representatives of several European countries, European leaders, and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte were also present at this teleconference. During this meeting, preparations for the Alaska talks were discussed, and President Karol Nawrocki's voice strongly resonated, – said Rafał Leśkiewicz on Radio Republika.
– The second meeting, the second conversation, took place on Saturday, early in the morning, after the conclusion of the talks in Alaska. The President spoke with both Donald Trump and several other European leaders. Essentially, the composition was similar, – he continued.
As he indicated: – The President clearly emphasized that discussions with Russia must be firm and consistent, and that Vladimir Putin's assurances should not be trusted, because he has repeatedly broken his word and violated agreements made with his involvement. The President also distinctly reiterated that there should be "nothing about Ukraine without Ukraine."
