– I want to reassure everyone, including the public, that in the past week I participated in two discussions with President Trump, as well as with European leaders, presenting the clear position of Poland and the Polish state regarding our distrust of Vladimir Putin and the Russian Federation – stated President Karol Nawrocki at the Presidential Palace.

– As we know, the 'coalition of the willing' is meeting today. Poland and the Polish government have long been represented in this format, and President Zelensky invited those European leaders who are expected to be in Washington today. The President of Poland is the only European head of state today who has a meeting with President Trump in the near future, specifically on September 3rd, where security issues, including peace in Ukraine, will be among the very important points – said the President of the Republic of Poland.

– Therefore, through the media present here today, I appeal for a sense of calm and prudence. We are also in contact with Prime Minister Tusk and the government, because when it comes to the security of the Polish state and the international situation, there is no room or time for certain political emotions; there is only the interest of the Polish state, which has brought us together here today, at the Presidential Palace – he continued.
