- Perhaps I expressed myself imprecisely yesterday in the Polish Press Agency studio. The President currently has 38 laws on his desk to sign, so there are a lot of these laws. So many laws have been sent to the Chancellery of the President, and one of them is the wind farm act. But we are also clearly saying that this act is, well, to put it mildly, a slight foul by the ruling party, because on the one hand, we talk about lowering energy prices. President Karol Nawrocki clearly emphasized this during the election campaign – he wants to lower energy prices. But wind farms... First there will be a freeze, and then a 33% reduction planned by the President – stated Rafał Leśkiewicz in the program "Poranek TOK FM", when asked about the President's decision regarding the wind farm act.

- It is an excellent idea to freeze energy prices and then lower them – he said.

- However, wind farms are meeting with significant social resistance. We are talking about reducing the distance from 700 to 500 meters. Mr. Editor, would you like to have such a large wind turbine in the immediate vicinity of your home, where on the one hand we have... Well, it's only half a kilometer, considering how large these wind turbines are. It affects the quality of life, and it also affects the environment – the President's spokesperson continued.

- Therefore, serious consideration should be given to how to solve this problem. The President has not yet made any decision – he added.
