Bogucki:
The Wind Turbine Act Was Meant to Be a Trap. It's Government Cunning, the President Will Handle It
- This law is such an inept snare, a trap that was meant to be set either for the former President Duda or for the new President of the Republic, Karol Nawrocki - Zbigniew Bogucki said in Polsat News, when asked if President Nawrocki would sign the so-called wind turbine act with the provision on freezing energy prices.
- It's no trap, it's simply the cunning of this government, which, while pushing through what I believe is a bad project concerning wind turbines, a project that was supplemented with a huge number of amendments in the Senate, raises questions about the constitutionality of this law and the sequence of three readings in a situation where, in many places, fundamental issues related to the law are changed, only in the Senate, and of course, something very important has been thrown in, namely protections and consequently lower bills for Poles - he continued.
- President Karol Nawrocki will really manage this, there will be a clear message, but there will also be time to carry out or introduce the changes that are important from the perspective of Poles' wallets, i.e., for these protections to come into effect. That will be on the government's side, but it is, of course, ultimately the President's decision - he added.
