These elections, held on June 1st, also sent a strong voice from the sovereign to the entire political class, electing me to the office of President of the Republic of Poland. It is a voice that says the current way of governing cannot continue and that Poland should not look like this today. It is the voice of Polish women and men, who want politicians to fulfill the promises made during the election campaign. June 1st is a clear signal that Poles want electoral promises fulfilled, they want to elect their president in a feeling of freedom, and they will not succumb to political propaganda – stated President Karol Nawrocki during the National Assembly.
