- Poland's public finances are today entering a very dangerous path. Of course, they are not entering it on their own; they are being steered onto this path by an irresponsible government. During our administration, despite the global turbulence, the deficit was kept in check. It averaged 2.7% of GDP. Now, according to the European Commission, it is expected to be more than twice as high, exceeding 6%, and that's not all. Public debt will soon exceed the constitutional threshold of 60%, and in two years, it could reach 67%. This is a headlong rush towards the abyss and a threat of state paralysis - says the narrator in a new clip published on social media by Mateusz Morawiecki.
