Sienkiewicz's sharp criticism of Bodnar:

I am extremely critical of his achievements. He didn't touch Law and Justice people in the prosecution.

- Let me give an example. We have prosecutor Wrzosek, who at a critical moment prevented PiS (Law and Justice party) from reaching a situation where someone like Kurski would still be running public media. And Ms. Prosecutor Wrzosek, who showed extraordinary courage then, has an ongoing investigation, conducted by Minister Ziobro's closest associate. It has been ongoing for 1.5 years, nothing is happening in this investigation, she hasn't even been questioned, but it's there, constantly hanging like the sword of Damocles - Bartłomiej Sienkiewicz said on Polsat News' "Graffiti". - And let's take another prosecutor, Mr. Ziarkiewicz, in whose garage all the case files that PiS wanted to hide because they were compromising for them were discovered. State papers in a garage. And it took a year to lift the immunity of this PiS prosecutor - immunity, not an indictment, a referral to court, anything else - he continued. "I am extremely critical of his achievements" - On the one hand, we have a person who fought for the public interest. On the other hand, we have a man who openly broke the law and is practically impunity. This is, in fact, the legacy Adam Bodnar leaves behind. I am extremely critical of his achievements - he stated. - I understand the congratulations he received [from the Prime Minister], because every good boss is courteous to his subordinates, especially when saying goodbye. But Adam Bodnar has spoken many times about the independence of the prosecution, and it was indeed independent of him - but dependent on PiS prosecutors - he assessed. "This is a matter of clear resistance from PiS circles within the prosecution, whom Bodnar did not touch" - I don't understand, I won't delve into the intentions, how much of it was lack of courage, how much opportunism. It's not my business. […] No one is talking about any shortcuts. The things Mr. Bodnar mentioned in his post, that the prosecution must do one, two, three, four, are true, and no one disputes that. However, a year's delay in any action? This is not a matter of procedures, it is simply a matter of clear resistance from PiS circles within the prosecution, whom Mr. Bodnar did not touch - indicated the KO (Civic Coalition) MEP.
