Ziobro Responds to Bodnar’s Move:

The Time for Criminal Responsibility Will Come.

- The ruling of Poland’s highest court […] which is the Constitutional Tribunal, issued on September 10th, clearly indicates that this [Pegasus] commission, in light of this decision, has ceased to exist - said Zbigniew Ziobro at a press conference, commenting on Adam Bodnar’s decision. - Rulings of the CT […] are, by force of the constitution, universally binding and irrefutable, whereas the fact that Prime Minister Donald Tusk has not published the ruling does not affect its binding force towards the organs of the Polish state, both the Polish Sejm and Polish courts - he continued. - It would be the utmost negligence towards the Polish state and a violation of the law to disregard this ruling and treat a body that is not a commission as one. […] This is a fact that justifies and fully entitles my decision not to appear before this body, which has been delegalized - he went on to say. - The continuation of this political farce is to follow. We will observe this. The time for criminal responsibility will come. Because with one thing, I agree with Minister Bodnar: no one is above the law, including Minister Bodnar, including Prime Minister Tusk, and also any court that decides to implement such farcical, political, and unlawful motions aimed at my further deprivation of liberty - he indicated.
