Szefernaker:

If the Government Disregards Nawrocki's Mandate, It Will Be Unable to Achieve Its Goals

- I am convinced that on fundamental issues, this agreement is necessary, and talks concerning security, Polish foreign policy, must be respected in terms of what the President has established. The President ran on a specific platform and holds specific convictions. Poles have given their support to this program - said Paweł Szefernaker in the "Morning Ring" program on Super Express. - Many people say that the President lacks prerogatives related to various issues, that the President has no tools. However, he has a very powerful tool. The President, with a record turnout in the Third Polish Republic, over 70%, received support that is a very strong mandate for the coming years - stated the future head of President Nawrocki's cabinet. - This is not a situation where it is the end of the presidency, [...] he has very strong political support, and the government must reckon with this political support. If it does not reckon with it, then there will not be good cooperation, and the government will also not be able to achieve its goals - he indicated. - If the government wants to cooperate with the President, it must very strongly consider the President's opinion. There are many Polish ambassadors worldwide, so I think this is a matter of cooperation and the will to cooperate. The government must consider that the presidential candidate ran with a clear message, and this message gained the support of the majority of Poles who went to the polls - he continued.
