"This is what we fear most." Siemoniak after briefing on "resource activation"
These data, which have been provided to us, these forecasts incline us to make a decision to activate resources due to very significant threats concerning storms, tempests, flash floods, and rising river levels - stated Tomasz Siemoniak at a press conference.
- The scale of the threats covers approximately half of the country's territory, but the nature of these events, as our partners responsible for meteorology say, is such that it is impossible to predict exactly where and what might happen. Hence the involvement of all voivodes - continued the head of the Ministry of Interior and Administration.
- We have decided to activate resources, knowing that 8 PM today is a kind of hour zero, where continuous rain and what we fear most – such a buildup, continuous rain and storm phenomena – can be expected - he added.
