PiS Calls for European Commission President's Dismissal: "Any MEP Voting for von der Leyen Votes Against Poland's Interests"

- We have filed a motion to dismiss the President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, and we would like to briefly outline the most important reasons why this Commission should immediately cease its activities - said Patryk Jaki at a press conference. Jaki: Germany is Doing What Poland Was Sanctioned For - What is currently happening at the border with Germany. I would like to remind you that Germany, in addition to applying so-called pushbacks [...], is invoking Regulation Dublin 3. [...] Germany applies the criterion of the country of first entry, therefore they are returning migrants to Poland, claiming that Poland was the country of first entry, but they are not providing sufficient evidence for this - and even the Border Guard confirms this - said the PiS MEP. - I want to remind you that according to this regulation, Germany is obliged to present evidence for this, and Poles do not have to accept them immediately, but have 2 months to consider these requests. So, why is this actually happening? - he pointed out. - Since sanctions were applied against Poland for so-called pushbacks, which were justified because they were entirely outside the EU border, [...] and here we have the Schengen border, then isn't it high time to apply the same to Germany? Block European funds for Germany. Is there no equality among all member states? - he asked. - What Germany, together with Ursula von der Leyen, Tusk's party, and the PSL, are doing now is incredible. For the umpteenth time, what Germany does, we observe it every day, Poles could not do it, and for that, sanctions were imposed on Poles - stated Jaki. Bocheński: Anyone Who Votes to Keep Ursula von der Leyen in Her Position... Tobiasz Bocheński continued by listing: - Mercosur, which will destroy Polish agriculture. Climate ideology, which in the form of the Green Deal, which has not been reversed at all, but is being slightly, cosmetically changed, will affect every Polish entrepreneur, every Polish family, imposing unbelievable costs that will likely lead to economic collapse. - Unfair, unreliable, secret negotiation of trade agreements with Ukraine, which directly harm Polish farmers. [...] Applying double standards: Germany is allowed something, Poles are not. Immigration, which the EU is unable to control at all. [...] Unbelievable bureaucracy that stifles the spirit of entrepreneurship from Lisbon to Helsinki. We are losing competition with the USA and China - he continued. - What Ursula von der Leyen cares about is her own base, Germany's interests, and grabbing as much power as possible from the Member States to the European Commission. [...] We are telling all our compatriots: every MEP who raises their hand to keep Ursula von der Leyen in her position is voting against Poland's interests and will harm Poland - he emphasized.
