President-Elect Announces Head of BBN:
An Exceptional Mind
- I have made the decision that Professor Sławomir Cenckiewicz will be the head of the National Security Bureau (BBN). Not only an outstanding intellectual, academic, director of the Military Historical Bureau, and author of many books on the activities of communist, Soviet special services. Professor Cenckiewicz's exceptional mind, but also his volitional traits and my deep conviction that the only cause the professor serves is the strength and stability of the Republic of Poland – stated Karol Nawrocki at a press briefing in Warsaw.
- I also view the shape of the BBN in the context of Program 21, my presidential plan, so that the BBN fulfills the tasks and this program for which 10.5 million Poles voted. I feel obligated to the citizens of the state, hence the structure of the BBN, with a civilian, professor, and academic intellectual at its head, and the deputies of the BBN head being two excellent generals, officers of the Polish Army and special services – he continued, announcing the nominations for Gen. Andrzej Kowalski and Gen. Mirosław Bryś.
