Post-Election Demobilization, Poor Communication with the Public, Coalition Disputes. Hennig-Kloska on Reasons for Negative Government Assessments

- Firstly, it is certainly a bit of an effect and a hiccup after the lost elections; there is always demobilization at such a moment. Secondly, all of this can be made up for, but the government needs to act effectively and communicate more effectively with the public - said Paulina Hennig-Kloska in Polsat News, when asked about the government's ratings according to CBOS (59% of respondents negatively assessed its activities). - We live in a time when a huge wave of fake news and lies hits social media, goes viral there, and creates chaos for us, confusing facts with reality. Unfortunately, the government must also learn to communicate effectively, avoiding these reefs or counteracting them - she continued. - For me, there are too many discussions, but the leaders' decisions on how to form a new government must lead to it working more effectively and communicating better. We have done a lot in the Ministry of Climate and Environment; many people tell me, "but I haven't heard about it" - she went on to say. - We are communicating poorly with the public, incorrectly, through the wrong channels, insufficiently, perhaps there are also too many disputes. I am not a supporter of disputes between coalition partners or between ministers publicly; these matters should be resolved within the government - she added. - Perhaps indeed, a model where all leaders enter the government, form a presidium, and resolve all problems and disputes there, would bring a solution - she emphasized.
