- Let the president-elect show me where the government is failing - said Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz in TVN24's "Kropka nad i", when asked about Karol Nawrocki's words. - Regarding the data that we sealed the border from 30% to 98%? That we sent back 8,540 migrants? That we sent away those criminals who threatened security? That we caught 500 smugglers, i.e., people who illegally transported individuals across the border? They have no answers to these data - he continued. When pressed about Nawrocki's thanks to Bąkiewicz, the head of the Ministry of National Defence stated: - He is lying. He is doing badly. He is doing very badly, because he should be thanking one and only one group of people: uniformed officers, services. The Polish Army, the Border Guard, and the Police. They are guarding security. [...] The Polish soldier shed blood to protect the Polish border. Border guards, soldiers were wounded to protect Polish sovereignty, the Polish border.
