Tusk:
In my assessment, it is unlikely that the scale of irregularities will fundamentally distort the election results
- According to what we know, this information flows from thousands of protests, but also from the communication of the Supreme Court's chamber, which dealt with some protests today. It is known that the election results are not precisely known, down to the last vote. The chamber also admitted this - Prime Minister Donald Tusk said at a press conference in Brussels.
- All state institutions that have constitutional and legal possibilities should do everything to ensure that every irregularity – I avoid the word 'fraud,' because it is true that irregularities have occurred in all previous elections – but only by verifying all irregularities will we be convinced that these irregularities did not influence the election results - he continued.
As the Prime Minister indicated: - If you ask me for my assessment, not a decision, because it is not the government that makes the decision, but my assessment, it seems unlikely that the scale of irregularities will fundamentally distort the election results. This is my assessment, but decisions should not be based on my assessment or impressions.
