Bodnar on Supreme Court's Extraordinary Appeals Chamber Judges: 'They Should Not Rule on Election Protests or Validity'

- Judges of the Extraordinary Appeals and Public Affairs Chamber of the Supreme Court should not rule on election protests or the validity of elections. The need for this matter to be decided by properly appointed judges was also expressed by the National Electoral Commission (PKW) in its report on the presidential elections published yesterday - wrote Adam Bodnar on X.

- In my opinion, judges of the Chamber of Labour and Social Security should rule on election protests and election validity. They are appointed in a manner that guarantees their independence and impartiality. Since the Constitution grants citizens the right to file protests, they should be heard by a body they trust – an independent Supreme Court - reads the post by the Minister of Justice and Prosecutor General.
