Duda:

A group in the Polish judiciary has gone mad fearing the infringement of their privileges

- Unfortunately, there is a group in the Polish judiciary at the moment which, in my personal opinion, has gone mad fearing the infringement of their privileges, fearing the infringement of their dominant position, fearing the loss of their elitism. I don't know what it's about, but in my feeling, they have gone mad, trampling on other judges. We are dealing with shocking situations where bandits, murderers, are de facto released from prison by overturning judgments, on the grounds that the judicial panel that conducted the case and ruled on it was incorrect, because there was a neo-judge on the panel – stated President Andrzej Duda at a press conference.

- It is difficult to imagine greater irresponsibility; in my personal opinion, this is downright treason against state interests, and it is an action against the security of the citizens of the Republic, to de facto release a murderer from responsibility, simply because someone has some of their own insane, personal preferences, political views – he continued.
