Minimum Wage and Hourly Rate in 2026: Government Decides
"The government proposes that from January 1, 2026, the minimum wage for employment should amount to PLN 4806. Next year, the minimum hourly rate for specified civil law contracts would also increase – from January 1, it would be PLN 31.40. The Council of Ministers will present the proposal to the Tripartite Commission for Social Dialogue" – the Government Information Centre reported after a Council of Ministers meeting.
Currently, the minimum wage is PLN 4666, and the hourly rate is PLN 30.20.
"The indexation rate for pensions and annuities in 2026 would be shaped at the level of 20% of the real growth of average remuneration in 2025" – the report continues.
"Furthermore, wage increases in the state budget sphere would rise by 3% next year" – it was added.
