Tusk Announces Government Spokesperson Nomination:
This Will Be a Serious Political Figure.
- This is meant to be a government spokesperson, not my personal one. So, I still have another round with all the coalition partners to go; everyone needs to feel comfortable with the spokesperson - Prime Minister Donald Tusk told journalists in the Sejm.
- The spokesperson's task will be to build a much more modern system. We have the Government Information Centre (CIR), Minister Rucińska, the team working at CIR is dedicated to ensuring everyone has accurate information about what's happening in the government. But that's not enough - he continued.
As he pointed out: - We need to mobilize all personnel resources, people with authority, to be heralds of what we are doing. So, it's not just about administration, preparing information, but it's a daily battle using all modern methods. The spokesperson will be needed for that.
- I think you will learn the spokesperson's name within a week - he declared.
- This will be a serious political figure. A wise person and a heavyweight in politics - he added.
