"When you deceive people, you pay the price. On June 1st, the most popular candidate Civic Platform could have fielded lost to the worst, weakest candidate PiS could have put forward. The fact that Trzaskowski lost to Nawrocki is not an accident, it's a consequence. A consequence of the Platforma and its affiliates' government disappointing millions of people after 1.5 years. They deceived them, they broke their word" - said Adrian Zandberg in a recording published on X. "For years, Civic Platform claimed to be a dam. A dam that would stop the rule of PiS and Konfederacja. It's clear they are no dam at all, because if Trzaskowski lost to Nawrocki, he would have lost to any other candidate. If the sole purpose of Civic Platform's existence was to prevent PiS and Konfederacja from coming to power, then that purpose has now expired" - he continued. "Today, Donald Tusk is the guarantee that in two years, Prime Minister Mentzen will be governing us. That government won't stop them anymore, but we can stop them. Everything depends on us" - he went on to say.
