– Making such a decision effectively requires consent from the President of the Republic of Poland. We wanted to ensure, and it has already been stated, that our candidate, if he becomes president, will simply not agree to it, because this is a situation in which we are to participate, and a very serious one at that, sending troops, even if they are not in close contact with Russian troops – stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a press conference.

– And on the other hand, all important Polish-Ukrainian matters, starting with historical ones, mainly related to Volhynia, but it was a broader phenomenon, these murders, this extremely cruel genocide, to economic matters, which also look like we are actually not to participate in the reconstruction of Ukraine, and this is an undertaking in which we should be involved – he continued.
