– For 20 years, we have been living under PO-PiS rule. Both of these parties have held all the presidencies and prime ministerships during this time. Both of these parties have essentially done similar things, utilized TVP for their party objectives, for producing slander against their political opponents. Both have used special services for their internal party dealings, complicated taxes, indebted our country, and supported EU climate policy, the Green Deal, and COVID policies – stated Sławomir Mentzen in a recording published on social media.

– Both sides engaged in scandals while the most important matters for Poland and Poles were neglected. Both sides only worried about how to win the next election, not about what Poland's future would look like – he said.

– I am fed up with a system where two major parties treat others as appendages so they can continue to steal and destroy the state. First, the media associated with PO and PO itself attacked me, and now PiS has attacked me. Only because I spoke the truth about Karol Nawrocki's past. I did not make any pact with PiS, I owe them nothing, and I am not in PiS without reason, precisely because I disagree with this party's policies – he emphasized.

– I disagree with tolerating the fact that Nawrocki defrauded an elderly, infirm person of an apartment, not paying for it at the time, that he deceived a notary, and that he attested to falsehoods in a notarial deed. It's not my fault that you chose such a candidate – the leader of Konfederacja continued.

– Now PiS attacks me, claiming that telling the truth about Karol Nawrocki's past is an attack on Poland and the right wing. But it was PiS, during its time in power, that treated Konfederacja very brutally. It was PiS that for years denied us access to TVP, preferring to promote Lewica instead. It was PiS that led to Konfederacja losing its subsidies, and that led to TVP publishing recordings of the Supreme Audit Office president on the eve of the 2023 parliamentary elections, which were intended to harm Konfederacja, possibly leading to Tusk winning those elections. Everything suggests that PiS thought we would be their Hołownia – he said.

– Konfederacja is ready to take responsibility for Poland. Konfederacja is ready to co-govern Poland, but on normal terms. We will never be anyone's appendage, we will never tolerate theft, scandals, or the plundering of state property. We will never be anyone's Hołownia – he continued.

– In these elections, there is finally hope for change. For the end of the 20-year PO-PiS duopoly, for a return to normal politics. Where who is right matters, not who belongs to which party. Where fraudsters and thieves are not tolerated simply because they are from the 'right' party – he stressed.

– On May 18th, let's go to the polls, let's end the 20-year PO-PiS era, and give Poland a chance for real change – he concluded.
