– The President is open to discussing adjustments to how entrepreneurs pay health contributions, but any changes implemented in such a sensitive area for all of us, for the entire society, must comply with the requirements of the Constitution – said Małgorzata Paprocka at a press conference.

– The act we are discussing today has faced very serious accusations […] yesterday, a meeting of the Social Dialogue Council took place at the Presidential Palace […] as everyone pointed out, the act was passed and presented without any social consultations. This is absolutely unacceptable in a democratic state governed by the rule of law – she continued.

– Listening yesterday to the voices of the social partners […] the President of the Republic of Poland, Andrzej Duda, decided to […] send the act […] with a request for its reconsideration by the Sejm, which, to put it plainly, means the President decided to veto this act – she went on to say.
