– I am coming to you with a concrete proposal, to sign a contract between Karol Nawrocki and local government officials, which will guide us. I want to sign this contract with you with the conviction that the current act on local government revenues, despite providing statistically larger financial resources, does not meet the expectations of Polish local government officials, especially in municipalities, districts, and smaller towns, and effectively deepens the polarization-diffusion model, thus essentially building Poland A and B – stated Karol Nawrocki at the Local Government Congress in Rzeszów.

– And in my vocabulary, as a presidential candidate and future president, there is no place for such a designation as Poland A and Poland B. There is only one Poland. This model must be stopped, of course, that's obvious, and I think in our contract we will be able to reach a compromise that we need to reverse the negative features of the local government act that it carries – he continued.

– In my contract, I propose that I initiate legislative action for a new act on local government, but I want you to be co-authors of this act – emphasized the presidential candidate.

– I will be the guardian and advocate for local government officials because I recognize a certain political psychology in their work. It's often not politics of cameras, big interviews, or debates, but this local politics is subjected to daily, continuous verification – he added.
