– The matter is extremely serious. Imagine, ladies and gentlemen, that the participation of Polish athletes in the Olympic Games in Paris cost the PKOl (Polish Olympic Committee) 7.5 million PLN. And in the years 2022-2024, Mr. Piesiewicz issued invoices to his private company amounting to nearly 11 million PLN, and additionally paid himself a salary of 1.5 million PLN. A total of 13.5 million PLN. For athletes for the entire Games – 7.5 million PLN, for Mr. Piesiewicz – 13 million. But this is just the beginning, because the scale of siphoning these funds from the institutions he managed is much larger. Colleagues, friendly companies – stated Sławomir Nitras in the Sejm.

– Mr. President Kaczyński, I am saying this to you. Your people created this corrupt, thieving system. I call it thieving because people on the street call this clique nothing other than thieves. You are responsible for robbing Polish athletes. You robbed the people who win medals for us with the white and red flag, and you gave them [the money] away – he continued.

– I don't know if you are aware, but Mr. Piesiewicz's closest associates today, members of the PKOl board, are currently in Karol Nawrocki's honorary committee. What kind of honorary committee is this? It is shameful to sit on such a committee with such people – the Minister of Sport emphasized.
