Hołownia's Chief of Staff Writes to TVP General Director Regarding Debate:

I Expect You to Uphold the Law.

"In connection with information about the planned debate to be held by TVP S.A. on April 11th of this year [...] with the participation of two candidates: Rafał Trzaskowski and Karol Nawrocki [...] I am addressing you, Mr. President, to invite the remaining registered candidates to the debate" – wrote Jacek Cichocki in a letter to Tomasz Sygut, General Director of TVP.

"Organizing a debate solely with selected presidential candidates constitutes a gross violation of Article 127, paragraph 1 of the Constitution of the Republic of Poland and Article 287 of the Electoral Code [...]. I expect you, Mr. President, to uphold the law and not violate the principles of the elections" – continued the chief of staff of Szymon Hołownia in the further part of the letter.
