– The Left, as the only responsible political force in Poland on this matter, has said from the beginning: no to lowering the health contribution. We said that we would not vote for a solution that takes money away from healthcare funds instead of contributing to them – said Anna Maria Żukowska at a press conference in the Sejm.

– We will do this consistently if further attempts are made to introduce this irresponsible solution […]. We do not agree with this proposal, we announced a vote against it, we voted against this bill in the health committee, and fortunately, we did not have the opportunity to vote on it in the plenary hall, as this bill was fortunately removed from the agenda by the decision of Marshal Zgorzelski – she continued.

– We will always be against it, we will consistently block it, we hope that also under the influence of the statements of Minister Leszczyna, who said that she would also not vote for this project, there will be reflection among those of our coalition partners who truly irresponsibly want to ruin Polish healthcare – she went on to say.
