Bosak:

Both the EP Resolution and the Sejm's Resolution are Farce

– We are witnessing a sort of disinformation operation, a distraction from what is important. Both this resolution in the European Parliament is meaningless, it has no binding force, and this entire resolution presented here today is purely farcical – said Krzysztof Bosak in the Sejm.

– This resolution, moreover, confirms falsehoods. There is no statement in the European Parliament's resolution that the East Shield project is a flagship project for the European Union. There is no pre-determined financing there. There is only an intention added to point 15, at the end of that point, clearly after a comma, it states “and East Shield” – he continued.

“It’s either uniform, or there’s a priority”

– In point 20 […] you will find the principle of uniform distribution of defense investments […]. The principle of geographical uniformity on a continental European scale is directly contrary to what you are lying to Poles about, namely the alleged privileging of NATO's eastern flank. It is impossible to simultaneously arm the Baltic states, Poland, and Portugal and Spain. It’s either uniform, or there’s a priority – he went on to say.

– Shifting competencies to Brussels is directly contrary to our defense priorities. […] No general will support this […]. No euro-debt, no further eurobonds, no new competencies for the European Union, the only thing the European Union could and should do is provide low-interest loans – he added.

“You are as imprudent as Prime Minister Morawiecki”

– You are weakening Poland's negotiating position. Most of the details regarding how this instrument is to be structured are undecided. The Prime Minister is discussing this today. And you are elevating support for a pig in a poke to a doctrinal level? You are as imprudent as Prime Minister Morawiecki was, when he advertised the KPO here, and it later turned out that there was euro-debt, there were eurobonds, and there was no money – he emphasized.
