"We Must Take Care of Fleeing Positions." Nawrocki in Piaseczno on the "Crisis in the Polish Police"

Michał Olech

We know what happened last year and what is happening recently. Too few filled positions in the police lead to many burglaries and robberies. Some of them, unfortunately, end fatally, as you experienced last year. Citizens of other countries are also involved in this, those who have arrived in the Republic of Poland. To ensure our safety and for Poland to become a sphere of security, the residents of Piaseczno, our wonderful women, for whom I am grateful for their support, but also our children and all of us must feel safe – stated Karol Nawrocki at a press conference in Piaseczno.

To respond to the crisis in the Polish police, in my 'Plan 21' I proposed introducing a patrol supplement for those officers who are leaving their service too quickly and departing from the police, because patrol work is hard, demanding, and not associated with good funding. This is how we must take care of the fleeing positions in the Polish police, so that the residents of Piaseczno feel safe – he continued.
