Motion Filed to Lift Immunity and Temporarily Detain Matecki
– Today, I submitted a motion to the Marshal of the Sejm of the Republic of Poland, Szymon Hołownia, requesting the Sejm to lift the parliamentary immunity of MP Dariusz Matecki and grant permission for his detention and temporary arrest – Adam Bodnar informed on social media.
– The motion is the result of the work of Investigative Team No. 2 of the National Prosecutor's Office, which is investigating the Fund of Justice affair along with related matters – he added.
As the Prosecutor General emphasized: – The charges are based on extensive evidence. I count on the Sejm’s swift consideration of the motion. To be continued.
