Ukraine's EU Membership is Not in Poland's National Interest
– From Poland's perspective, there is no national interest in Ukraine's membership in the European Union. Ukraine's presence in the EU is not in Poland's interest. There is a divergence of interests regarding agriculture, cohesion policy, the transport sector policy, and energy-intensive industry – stated Anna Bryłka in the program "Sygnały Dnia" on PR1.
– Ukraine's current status is more or less that Ukraine is not in the European Union, but it has all the privileges of a member state without having to meet all those requirements, regulations, and without having to implement EU law. It has [limited] access to the common market – she added.
