Błaszczak:

The Government Aims to Bring About the Collapse of Poczta Polska

– After a year of the December 13 coalition's rule, Poczta Polska is on the brink of collapse, but I can put forward this thesis: the government's intention is precisely to bring about the collapse of Poczta Polska – said Mariusz Błaszczak at a press conference.

– Among the referendum questions was also a question regarding the lack of consent or consent for the protection of state property. And this referendum was solemnly negated, solemnly invalidated by Donald Tusk […] Donald Tusk was interested in being able to liquidate state property in the form of Poczta Polska. And the second event is the so-called recovery program, which is in fact a program for closing down Poczta Polska, assuming the dismissal of 10,000 employees – he continued.

– If we add to this the fact of yesterday's event, namely the adoption by the December 13 coalition of a law that breaks the current monopoly of Poczta Polska regarding the sending of official correspondence, we have a complete picture of the situation in which Poczta Polska finds itself. Law and Justice stands firmly behind Poczta Polska […] we will undertake all possible actions, as provided for by the Sejm regulations, to support Poczta Polska employees, to save Poczta Polska from destruction – he went on to say.

– I interpret what is happening today with Poczta Polska as an attempt to close down, to liquidate Poczta Polska. […] We demand that Donald Tusk personally engage in negotiations with the protesting employees, we have presented a draft law, we have an idea for Poczta Polska, so all of this is on the table, one just needs to make use of it – he added.
