We Should Persuade the New US Administration to Guarantee Ukraine's Security
– Poland can do two things. It can persuade other Europeans that we should take security seriously. We are responsible for the EU's eastern border, we spend 5% of our GDP on security, so we must explain to everyone that we need to be serious – stated Rafał Trzaskowski at a press conference.
– The next thing we are doing and should continue to do is persuade the new American administration that we should do this together, Europe and the United States, to guarantee Ukraine's security. If, God forbid, there is an opportunity to present the end of this war as his [Putin's] victory, it will be a catastrophe not only for Poland and Europe, but also for the United States – he continued.
