Today, we are in a state where Polish society will certainly not accept this kind of operation [like sending soldiers to Ukraine], and this is decisive. If we do not live in a democratic state today, because unfortunately democracy in Poland is regressing due to the extremely brutal violation of the law, due to attempts to deal with the opposition with the help of compliant courts, we still want to live in a democratic state and we believe that this democracy will return to Poland very quickly, and therefore undertaking such ventures, implementing them against the clear will of the vast majority of society is simply impossible – stated Jarosław Kaczyński at a press conference.
