“As Poland 2050, we received with surprise the unilateral, unconsulted decision by Civic Coalition to field Ms. Monika Piątkowska as a candidate in the supplementary elections for the Senate of the Republic of Poland,” wrote Rafał Komarewicz on X.

“This is not a joint candidate of the Senate Pact, as we had with the elections on October 15th. Among the registered candidates, there is no individual whom we could support with full responsibility. We also believe that our voters know perfectly well which candidate best understands the problems of Krakow and its residents, and will best represent their interests in the Senate of the Republic of Poland,” he stressed.
