– We are observing this situation closely. I will not hide that it was a surprise to us that such a situation occurred. I understand that the prosecutor's office is conducting its proceedings and has conducted an interrogation; the minister has provided his explanations. He currently holds the position of my social advisor, which is an unpaid role and is his only connection to the Chancellery of the President of the Republic of Poland (KPRP). I am waiting to see how the prosecutor's office will clarify this matter and what further decisions it will make – stated President Andrzej Duda at a press conference.

– For now, yesterday I decided to instruct the Head of the Chancellery, Minister Paprocka, and my senior colleagues, not to involve Błażej Spychalski in any activities that would in any way involve representing the President of the Republic of Poland, whether at certain ceremonies or events, until this matter is further clarified and the prosecutor's office indicates what decisions it truly intends to take – added PAD.

We are also observing what actions these suspicions or accusations, which are being formulated against Błażej Spychalski, will actually concern, and whether they are in any way related to what he did and what he was involved in at the KPRP – he emphasized.
