Błaszczak on Flood Damage Remediation:

A Symbol of How Bad the Tusk Government Is.

– The reaction to flood damage remediation is an example, it is a symbol of how bad Donald Tusk's government is, it is a symbol of how Donald Tusk's government badly treats Poles who are in need. […] When we analyze the way assistance was provided to those affected [by the flood], we are once again dealing with a bad law. The Law and Justice Parliamentary Club proposed different solutions, proposed solutions that would genuinely help those affected – said Mariusz Błaszczak at a press conference.

– The criteria for granting, for example, financial support are so stringent that not everyone who was affected could benefit from this law, and yet, in the Law and Justice project, we pointed this out, but we were not listened to – he continued.

– Almost 5 months after the flood, a container kindergarten is being opened with great fanfare and a parade. The Deputy Prime Minister, the Minister of National Defence, and the minister appointed to deal with flood damage remediation are participating in this opening […] such a container kindergarten could have been built within a few weeks after this tragic event, and instead, a ceremony was held, at which, moreover, the children were treated badly – he went on.

– The last argument concerns Donald Tusk's declaration that there would be financial support from the European Union for flood victims. This turned out to be an empty promise […] as Mr. MP Waldemar Buda found out, this money did not arrive in our country; moreover, only after Mr. MP's intervention did the government submit an application – he added.
