Motion for a 30-Day Detention for Ziobro. Pegasus Investigation Committee Decides

The Pegasus investigation committee voted on a motion for the detention of Zbigniew Ziobro. There were 7 votes in favor, 1 against, and no abstentions, meaning the motion secured a majority.

– Witness Ziobro’s conduct […] is absolutely reprehensible and blameworthy. The police did not find him at his registered and usual place of residence; he was hiding in the last hours at the headquarters of a television station subservient to his political formation – Marcin Bosacki presented the motion before the vote.

– I move that the committee […] firstly […] adopt a resolution to request the Prosecutor General to submit a motion to the Sejm for consent to apply a disciplinary penalty of detention against Zbigniew Ziobro for a period of 30 days, counting from the day of apprehension, with the designation that the witness is to be brought to the committee session for the purpose of giving testimony – he continued.
