– This morning I met with the head of Google, who, unprompted by me, stated that not only for Google but also for other high-tech giants, Poland should become a regional center, a European center, when it comes to artificial intelligence and cybersecurity – said Prime Minister Donald Tusk at a press conference following his meeting with the Prime Minister of Canada.

– I will speak about this in a few days, because I will try to convince everyone, in Europe and around the world, but also here in our country, that Poland is embarking on a path of very accelerated development, both economic and technological. In a few days, I will provide precise information on this to the Polish public, including investment intentions and our cooperation with ambitious and desired partners like Canada, as well as with the world's largest companies – he continued.

– So that Poland becomes, and we are well on our way, a leader in modern technologies and a certain model of conduct throughout Europe. This requires specific energy sources. If, as our partners have announced, we want to build large data centers here, for example, it requires additional energy sources – he went on to say.

– And given that energy in Poland is expensive, our joint investments and our cooperation in the field of nuclear energy are something that is a real priority for Poland – he added.
