– Judges who were appointed under the 2017 law, meaning judges who are not trusted by those currently ruling Poland, have been demoted, as that is what must be called. It is also very characteristic that these repressions concern judges appointed after 2017, but exclusively those adjudicating criminal cases, as judges in civil or economic cases have not encountered such repressions. The entire point of this is to arrange judicial panels, so that the District Court in Warsaw, as a political court, carrying out political orders originating from Donald Tusk's Chancellery and from Tusk himself, reacts as Tusk wishes. Is this not authoritarianism? This is authoritarianism, these are the times of communism. Communism has returned to Poland – said Mariusz Błaszczak at a press conference.
