Romanowski Writes to Bodnar, Setting 5 Conditions:

I Commit to Return to the Country Within 6 Hours.

"It is not the assurances of a minister or another government representative that should guarantee a fair trial, but the adherence by the executive and judicial branches to legal principles that protect citizens from abuses" - writes Marcin Romanowski in an open letter to Adam Bodnar.

"As a man falsely accused, I wish to demonstrate both my innocence and the righteousness of the decisions I have made in a public trial. I publicly commit to returning to the country within 6 hours if the government withdraws from the illegal actions described in the following points," - the letter further reads.

The points detailed by Romanowski are:

1. "Publication of all rulings by the Constitutional Tribunal, which have been illegally blocked by Prime Minister Donald Tusk for several months."
2. "Recognition and unconditional compliance with all judgments issued by judges of every chamber of the Supreme Court."
3. "Reinstatement of illegally dismissed court presidents, starting with the Courts of Appeal and District Courts in Warsaw."
4. "Cessation of illegal manipulations in the drawing of lots for judges to adjudicate criminal cases."
5. "Cessation of the unlawful blockade of duties by National Prosecutor Dariusz Barski, who was illegally deprived of his position, and reinstatement of illegally dismissed heads of prosecutor's offices, starting with regional and district prosecutor's offices."
