In a communication published on the National Electoral Commission (PKW) website, Sylwester Marciniak responded to media statements made by Ryszard Kalisz concerning the resolution on PiS's financial report.

As the head of the PKW indicated: _“Contrary to what Mr. Attorney Ryszard Kalisz claims, the circulation procedure was initiated to adopt not 9, but only 3 resolutions and – not as Attorney Kalisz claims, on unimportant matters – but on matters that could not be delayed.”_ He explained that besides the issue of PiS's report, these concerned filling a vacancy for the position of electoral commissioner.

_“It is impossible to agree with the assertions of Attorney Kalisz, who, to put it mildly, often misleads public opinion, deviates from the truth, and is the only member of the PKW to regularly speak in the media, lacking experience in electoral matters,”_ it reads.

_“Furthermore, I must regretfully state that he probably does not read the materials sent by the KBW (National Electoral Office), yet he comments on them,”_ the chairman added.
