- Today we are dealing with a new development, an important one, because the Commissioner for Human Rights (RPO) represents a camp, and I mean this representation in a broader sense, that is currently in power. Nevertheless, what was stated in this declaration aligns, though not in every detail, with what we have been saying all along. That is, very serious abuses occurred concerning two women from the Ministry of Justice, who were arrested, in my opinion, entirely without grounds, and concerning Father Olszewski. These were abuses, quoting Professor Wiącek here, inhumane, excessive, and unlawful, significantly violating the provisions of the law - stated Jarosław Kaczyński during a press statement.

"Drastic Actions”

- We were dealing with drastic actions here, because stripping women naked or forcing them to perform various acts in the presence of men are very far-reaching matters, and the aim was to induce these individuals to give testimony according to the authorities' expectations. And the fact that these expectations exist is evidenced, among many other proofs, by the statement of Mr. Hołownia, who, as it were, points to Mr. Romanowski from the outset. He does not wait for a verdict, he does not speak of the presumption of innocence - he continued.

"There is No Rule of Law”

- This simply means that in Poland, we are not dealing with a state governed by law, there is no rule of law, and what is more, many statements, particularly from the head of government, indicate that the law is simply not recognized as binding. What is binding is the current will of the authorities. This is a completely unacceptable situation that must one day be summarized in appropriate criminal proceedings, because otherwise, it cannot be resolved, nor can Poland be secured against such situations recurring - emphasized the PiS chairman.

"We Were Right”

- It is worth saying once again, we were right in what we said, and what was questioned, including by a large part of the media. It is also important that the RPO admits this, at least in large part, retreating from certain final conclusions, but admitting it nonetheless - Kaczyński noted.
