Hołownia Announces Bill Presentation on Elections:
Three Randomly Drawn Judges from Different Chambers.
- In this bill, which I will likely present to MPs tomorrow who might wish to support it, there will be a provision stating that three randomly drawn judges from different chambers of the Supreme Court will consider appeals against decisions of the National Electoral Commission (PKW) - said Szymon Hołownia on TVN24's “Rozmowa Piaseckiego” (Piasecki’s Conversation).
At the same time, the previous element of the bill announced by the Marshal remains unchanged – the validity of the presidential election would be determined by the entire composition of the Supreme Court.
- This is precisely the remedial nature of this bill – everyone must take half a step back for the good of the state - he indicated.
As he stated: - This is an incidental bill that concerns these presidential elections, so that we can secure them in such a way that we do not have a repeat of presidential election scenarios, which may be similar, […] in terms of temperature, emotions, and consequences, to those in Georgia and Romania.
