Thursday's Political Agenda: Macron Meets Tusk and Duda, Nawrocki in Białobrzegi, Domański with Weimar Triangle Ministers, Public Consultations on Free Christmas Eve

French President Emmanuel Macron is visiting Poland. At 12:10 PM, Prime Minister Donald Tusk will welcome him at the Chancellery of the Prime Minister. At 12:15 PM, a meeting between Tusk and Macron will begin, followed at 1:10 PM by statements to the media by both politicians. Later, at 3:00 PM, the French leader will proceed to the Presidential Palace for a meeting with President Andrzej Duda.

Sejm Marshal Szymon Hołownia is concluding his visit to Finland. At 9:30 AM Polish time, he will visit Merihakka, a shelter for Helsinki residents – this is the sole and final point of his visit.

At 9:30 AM, the Minister of National Defence, Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz, will participate in the signing of a contract for the purchase of the MQ-9B SkyGuardian unmanned aerial system for the Polish Army. The Deputy Prime Minister is scheduled to give a speech.

At 10:00 AM, Karol Nawrocki, a candidate for President supported by PiS, will meet with officers of the Polish Army, the State Fire Service, and scientists in Warsaw during "consultations on national security." A press conference is scheduled after the event. Meanwhile, at 6:00 PM, Nawrocki is expected to meet with the residents of Białobrzegi.

At 2:30 PM, Finance Ministers Andrzej Domański, Antoine Armand, and Jörg Kukies will deliver press statements following a meeting within the Weimar Triangle framework.

At 5:00 PM, public consultations will be held at the Presidential Palace with employers and employees regarding the bill introducing a free Christmas Eve day. President Andrzej Duda is scheduled to deliver a speech.

At 10:00 AM, the Minister of Sport and Tourism, Sławomir Nitras, will participate in the opening of the Congress of Mass Sports at PGE Narodowy in Warsaw.

At 9:30 AM in the Sejm, a press conference will be held by Radosław Fogiel and Michał Dworczyk. Later, at 12:00 PM at the PiS headquarters, a press conference will be held by Dariusz Stefaniuk, Przemysław Czarnek, Łukasz Schreiber, and Mirosława Stachowiak-Różecka.
